capacitors charge to a voltage equal to its source voltage and energy related to its capacitance, etc. i would say an inductor would be the magnetic equivalent of a capacitor. inductors resist changes in current until an induced voltage and thus magnetic field occurs, so a similar component will need to induce an electric charge while inhibiting magnetic fields from building up; i elect an inductor.

Dear /sci/borgs,

I am a mathematics transfer student, that will be attending a new university this Fall. I want to start the semester with a good GPA.

I want to take at least one difficult course and the rest easy courses.

For difficult courses I am considering:
Mathematical Analysis
Differential Equations (applied)

Potentially:
Symbolic Logic ( I have some what of a background in logic, so this may be a 'medium' difficult course.
Computer Science (intro to programming).

If I want an easy semester would:

Analysis
Computer Science
Symbolic Logic
Some Art class
Some Philosophy Class

be an ideal choice? Or would it be something more along the lines of: mathematical analysis then the rest all liberal arts courses? because whatever I make this semester will affect me the remaining time at uni. I could probably make at least a B in Analysis.

May be studying Rudin over the summah :D
