I know h^1 is of the order 1.
......h^2 is of the order 2....
......h^3 is of the order 3....
....etc....

But say I have the "deriviate of h"...
Is this of order 1?

I am trying to truncate an equation, to the lowest order in "h", but how do I handle the derivitives! Or the cross terms that involve derivatives and powers of h???

No. You don't even factor that stuff into Quantum Mehcnics until the very very very very end (or not at all). Often you assume you have a perfect measurement system.

The fucked up nature of QM exists regardless of how "prefect (or shitty) our measurment scheme is". It is obvious you just don't understand QM.

The nature of Quantum Mechanics is not a fucking measurement problem bro, no amount of perfect measurement will get rid of the uncertainity or the probablitic shit. That stuff is inherit in the universe.

For anyone who didn't see it:

Steven Colberts reaction to O'Reillys rage inducing bullshit.
(Or should it be: 'Steven Colberts reaction to yesterdays rage thread' ?)

http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/373357/february-03-2011/crisis-in-egypt---and
erson-cooper---bill-o-reilly

Skip to 2:25 for the action.

Sweet Justice.
It feels good to have some big media person speaking out what we all thought about O'Reillys trolling.

Also science rage thread or whatever (maybe 'sweet justice thread')
