Short answer: it does not.

The personality, if you follow Freud, has 3 general personalities. An Id which drives you to eat, fuck and fight, a superego which makes you create a God and starve in supplication to him, and an Ego, which tells you to lay off the burgers, Amerifat.

Getting drunk suppresses the Ego and Superego, putting the Id in the driver's seat. That's why college kids fight and fuck so much - they drink beyond their limits and let out the Beast.

Of course, this is all psyche 101, which most on /sci/ would say is all bullshit anyway. Take from it what you will.
