I respect what you say, and I appreciate it. But understanding is impossible, at least any truly relevant understanding. I can understand how some chlorophyll absorbs energy from sunlight, but how much does that contribute to my actual understanding of our world.

I thought I was intelligent, I really did. But the more and more I read these posts, the more and more I realize how little I know and how poor my understanding of science is. My problem solving abilities are far below average, as well as my mathematical abilities. My reading and writing skills are adequate to say the least, but what good is the ability to communicate when you have nothing worth communicating.

Should I just...end it all?

Sup guise, I need your help on a job related subject. I need to decide between two places of work. regardless which job I choose, it's going to be for 14 months, between 4-6 shifts a week, and 8-10 hours per shift. Weekend shifts give 150% hourly salary bonus, and regular shifts give 125% hourly salary bonus after the eighth hour.

The first job pays 8.8$ per hour, but gives a 2500$ bonus after six months.

The second job pays 9.8$ per hour.


Which should I choose considering solely the salary?
