So the solution was finally found in this thread

the limit of the perimeters is not the perimeter of the limit in this pic, but is in the archimedes method because the derivative of the parameterized curves on [0,2pi] does not converge (in the pic) to (-sin(x),cos(x)) which is the derivative of the circle curve.

the derivative in archimedes method does converge to (-sin(x),cos(x)) , that's why it work, but was it pure luck?
