It's a pretty fascinating insight into how he thinks and a lot of what he says is true. Once truly sentient AI is made, there's no controlling it. Either it helps us or doesn't, but it cannot be stopped past a certain point. The stuff about how merging with AI could fundamentally change human behavior by allowing the cortex to stop being a slave to the limbic system was interesting. Reminds me of the Crysis 2 novel and the protagonist noticing himself changing as he no longer feels hunger or fatigue.
