Imagine if he never existed. Would we even be alive currently? Would we even have technology? Terrifying to think about

Why did it take humans so long to invent gravity?

That’s exactly what it was discovered for.

>This most beautiful system of the Sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent Being. (...) Every newly found truth, every experiment or theorem, is a new mirror of the beauty of God
How come he was smart enough to invent calculus, optics and mechanics yet not smart enough to avoid writing something like this?

This incel memelord piece of shit is still kicking so I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon. I mean for fuck's sake, any first year college student could discover what he did, and his shit's all wrong anyway.

/sci/, have you ever had a hero that you admired only to discover later on that he was a scumbag?
I used to admire Newton but recently I discovered he was a massive piece of shit and one of the worst humans in science. I'm amazed that there's no footnote about scientists, as a person, in most books. I feel disgusted to have held him in such a high regard for all these years.

How do you calculate where two curves cross each other using Newtons method?

If I may, I would like to humbly point out how much you all have missed, but I can't describe to you the shape of the curve of logarithmic information distribution of print material because none of you know The Calculus.

I would love to integrate all of your theories into one, but it appears to be beyond my limit.

Thanks for the systematization of human knowledge into a stable representation of the blending of Greek and Arabic symbolization, though.

The gravity of that is not lost upon me.
