How accurate is this image in terms of whether the research the anon claims he did is true/effective or not? Here's the gist if you don't want to read it or skim through:
>people, over time, have evolved to emulate those who they see as rich/famous/powerful/etc. because by emulating these people they may also become rich/famous/powerful/etc.
>movies are used to cause people to internalize "false memories", i.e mistaking things which happen in movies for real life
>"false "memories" basically mean that, if you watch a movie with some character represented as an ideal, and that character comes to a situation 'x', does something 'y' and gets a reward 'z' in the movie, then you will internalize this as a genuine memory, and later on if situation 'x' happens you, you will do the same 'y' with the expectation of 'z' afterwards.
>this is bad because the reaction in the movie isn't a real reaction, and the reward you get may be completely different
>if you choose not to watch movies or aren't skilled socially, then that's just as bad, because these movies will be watched by others and you'll be ostracized for not having watched them, meaning your genuine ideas not influenced by movies will be ignored in lieu of those people who have watched them and/or have greater social skills
>the only 'good' way to combat this is to learn how to discern between fiction and reality in movies
I'm gagging a bit at the idea of posting a /pol/ screenshot here, but I think it's got enough to do with science that it's acceptable.

Is this actually scientifically possible or is it just a larping faggot spouting bullshit?
