not true. most colleges allow one to retake the classes and override GPA during your freshman and sophmore undergrad years. For example, if you take Calc 1 only fall semester, get an F and then take Calc 1 spring semester and get an A, your GPA is now a 4.0GPA but the F shows up.

Most employers dont care that you failed a couple classes. What they do care about is if your overall and major GPA is above a 3.0GPA with side projects and internships. 3.5GPA for fortune 10s. Even so, connections with a 2.5GPA and degree these days help more than cold market resume with a high GPA and degree
