Okay, I might be totally retarded by thinking this, but assuming that our universe is a simulation, could the big bang have been the result of "implementing" or "executing" gravity.exe? As in applying the force of gravity to our universal simulation last, having already generated mass/energy and the other force(s).

It would sort of explain the rapid expansion of the universe, as well as why the universe began with an expansion so far as we can tell.

Ideas? I feel like this is a pretty big idea, but I can't imagine being the first one to come up with it. Surely others have thought of it before. Is there any literature on this? Or is this just an unfeasible autistic fantasy?
