I would read about logic, proofs, and set theory. That will help you understand the fundamental concepts necessary to begin thinking mathmatically. If you have further questions having references on these topics is helpful to look back on and learn more. As far as the pure arithmetic goes, Khan academy will help you do everything up to calc, but it is no end all be all solution either. It's best to take classes in college to go along with all of this, but you don't have to rush through them. You could start wherever you feel comfortable in khan academy, then when you're ready take a placement test in school. Read some books on proofs/sets/logic too, you don't need any pre-reqs to read them just a working brain. Once you've done this long enough you can buy books on any topic you want and read them and learn about all sorts of maths! Plus you will not only be able to do calculations, but understand and write proofs!

Does anyone have a chart similar to the one in the O.P. for the I.T. industry?

I want to be a network engineer or something similar. Need a structured plan. Been getting raped at job interviews lately.

Is this chart a meme? I really want to learn some calc to help with my programing skills since i was too broke to go to collage. How long would it take to complete it? Are there any better alternatives?

Logic: The Laws of Truth just arrived. What am I in for? I don't know a thing about mathematics (outside of high school courses) but for some reason I want to relearn it from the beginning so I'm following pic rel.

I found this to self study but before I begin I want to know if it's just a meme chart and you have better suggestions.

Is this just a meme? It looks pretty comprehensive but I feel like a couple of those books might be superfluous. Also, I hear that Spivak is pretty difficult. Is there a place for a first year calculus text like Thomas' Calculus & Analytic Geometry?
