What was the point of space shuttles? First space ships were rockets. Then both USSR and USA started building space shuttles for manned flights, canceled it after some time and went back to using rockets.

i have never seen a sane pure mathematician. they are always on the edge of losing sanity and are extremely schizophrenic and disconnected from reality. why are they like this? why is it so hard for him to accept that somethings are just axioms?
