Hey, I'm 25 and I'm thinking of starting a math or physics degree, my dream is to become a college professor, but sometimes I feel like I'm too old, since I have no experience in this I came here to ask those who are on the academia, is there still time for me or am I really too old for this? You can. If even I could do it, then surely you can. Just stay resilient. Don't overburden yourself. Don't let some difficult problems crush your spirit. You can do it. I think I'll try to be a good mentor now and not give up yet, or else this post will be quite ironic. Why do you think your age means so much? Do you have some mental problems like depression, something psychotic, eating disorders etc? If not, then you should at least be able to make it. Don't give up. No is not the time for fear, that comes later. You will make it, I will make it, my tumor will make it but only after I have made it. Sounds like a plan? Yes it does, thanks for agreeing with me.
