why do i get 2 different answers?

ln(2x^(2x)) = 2x*ln2x = 2x*(ln2 + lnx) = 2xln2 + 2xlnx

ln(2x^(2x)) = ln2 + lnx^(2x) = ln2 + 2xlnx

Why are you behaving so emotionally and aggressively? Is it calculated to intimidate the faint- or kind-hearted, or is this really your true, awful personality coming to the fore?

What sort of expertise are you claiming here? I don't mean to be aggressive, just looking for context.

Hi /sci/
I am writing my master's thesis on relativistic hydrodynamics, but have never been in contact with the subject before. I already found a lot of good books and papers, but I feel there is an ungodly amount of stuff to learn and understand, especially since many papers are about very specialised subfields, where because of the long calculations you lose track over what you're actually trying to accomplish.
Do you have recommendations for books that give the "big picture"?

In physics it is common to substitute in Taylor polynomials. E.g. if I want to expand ln(1+x)/x around a=1 to order 2, I expand ln(1+x) to order 3 and divide the result by x. This has worked so far for every occasion.
To the mathematicians here: is this true for any function? That means if I have a function g(f(x)), does T(n,a)(g(f(x))=T(n,a)(g(T(n,a)(f(x))) hold?
I tried doing it myself and found that it does hold if T(n-j)(f(x))=T(n)(d^j/dx^j(f(x)))=d^j/dx^j(f(x)) holds, i.e. the Taylor expansion converges for all derivatives of f(x).
Assuming f and g are infinitely many times differentiable, does this always hold?

I've never seen two functions that equal each other for lengths as opposed to single points.
Do any exist, or is it a mathematical impossibility?

Why do Comp""""""""Sci"""""""""" fags act like their field of study is a science when its basically just psychology for computers? I honestly feel bad for the people wasting their lives with this shit when even a humanity would be a better use of time and at least make them seem less autistc. How do people develop passion?

How does someone manage do derive the same enjoyment out of studying something as someone else playing video games? Is passion learnable? I read somewhere that passion increases with skill. No idea how true that is as I am sure there are people that enjoyed something even without having any skill. And I am also sure there are people that are good in their job but not passionate about it. There are so many areas of science and I don't think one can truly decide if they interest one without aquiring a certain amount of skill, like at least 4 semesters. But one doesn't have enough time to study every subject before making a decision. So how does one make it? How does one decide if one choose the wrong subject to study or if one just needs to endure the dry material and will have fun with the aquired knowledge later? Aptitude tests don't look realiable to me. I am confused /sci/.
