so we've sequenced the human genome, but what does that mean? because surely there is variation in genetic makeup between individuals, so is the genome of a species an 'average'?

Hey guys, nice chemistry thread you got going on here. Do you know where can I find spectral (NMR, IR, etc.) data of more "exotic" compounds like Ferrocene or other organometallics? I know how to find crystal data using Pearson and International Cristallography Tables but so far, spectral data have been under my radar. Any help appreciated!

What does kosher mean in relation to nonfood products? I make candles and glycerine is one of the bases I use, the kosher is more expensive so I get the plain stuff.
