Both IBS-C and ALL cancers are giga-tutorial mode compared to very severe ME/CFS, which is the literally hell mode disease of this planet. You are basically a vegetable in such severe pain that not even heroin can alleviate it. And it will not kill you either, so a person with very severe ME/CFS will lie down in excruciating pain for decades until you die of old age. You will be completely alone too because not only do you not have the energy to talk or write or communicate, but you do not have the energy to see or listen to things either without all of your symptoms becoming even worse. The same applies for human touch too.
