"What's in a name"?.I've tended to think "control". To name something is to create some delineation between what something is, and is not, its bounds. This allows it to be manipulated. Names have power.

When people are given certain names though, it does seem to create a certain "type". Hard to say. Organisms respond to "intention", so they probably also respond to other forms of consideration. Whether this is the way their cells are vibrated by the sound of their name, some sort of electromagnetic effect, something set long before they were named (thus giving them the name). Gotta wonder.
