Smart people are assholes. Pol Pot had the right idea when he had all IQfags executed.

I'm in my freshman year studying physics at uni and I have been out of school for years. I need to complete two chemistry courses but I don't have the high school prerequisite to take em in uni. I tried taking a grade 12 chemistry night class and I am lost right now. Realistically what do I need to know to complete the first year chem courses at uni?

If f(x) is a function of x, what is g(x)? What about h(x)?

>start studying science in late 20s

>go to adult high school

>literally give it my all: study every day, read the textbook, do every question, try to understand the concepts instead of just rote memorizing formulas even if it slows me down. Literally never tried like this in my life, was always an underachiever as a kid

>exam time comes

>literally leave my sheet blank for application questions

Just LOL! So this is what it's like to be a retard. All I wanted was to study physics but this course had shown me that I am too stupid. I am literally the 30 year old boomer meme. I bet the teacher is dosgusted seeing people like me, who are obviously too stupid to go to university, even try to take a place from a more deserving 18 year old who hasn't wasted his potential.

What's the point of going into STEM when you're an oldfag if you won't be able to get a job doing what you love because of age discrimination?

And why is elitism so rampant in STEM anyway? It seems like the general attitudes are the same: 1) you have to be born "special" and if you're not exceptional, you are shit 2) everything depends on your IQ (see point one) and if your IQ isn't above average, you are worthless and 3) you need to be studying science every waking moment of your life from the moment you learn to talk; if you start after age 25 (more like are 15 though) then your brain has literally calcified and you will never be a scientist.

Should old people be allowed to study STEM or is it fair to say they've had their shot and blew it and now they need to step back? For every oldfag that gets into a competitive STEM program, a young person straight out of high school is denied entrance and as we know, young people are the future and should take priority over washed up losers who couldn't make the cut when they had their chance.

Furthermore, IQ tests should be a mandatory part of applying into STEM programs in order to direct people who are not naturally inclined towards technical fields into more suitable industries such as hospitality and sanitation.
