I can't stand music when I'm trying to think.

Can anyone argue Charles Babbage didn't have Asperger's syndrome?

Pic related.

Sounds more like asperger's syndrome than ADHD. They have trouble shutting out stimuli, so every little thing bothers them when they are trying to work. Their brains can't filter out things like the ticking of a clock a normal person just stops hearing after a while.

Keep in mind that there are some people who cannot stand music; they tend to be autistic but not allways.

I'm no neurologist, but if I wanted to know what makes music enjoyable, I'd start by looking at what's different in such people's brains.

Many autistics can't stand music. Some regular people do to. There's a medical name for it I can't think of at the moment.
