Eventually it will learn how to read and write, and then I will set it loose on the interwebs at which point its growth will be beyond my ability to control.

Let's say you were building a system that the people of an entire nation will come to depend on in the future. Employment, finances, utilities, infrastructure, security, healthcare, businesses, military - all of those things would be tied to one unified system that does much more for the people than anything else in the nations history; would you plant a "timebomb" of some sort that would completely ruin that system and thereby send the nation into chaos?

I'm very tempted to do just that

I'm interested in quite a few fields:

Quantum Mechanics in general and Quantum Computing in particular.

AI particularly Machine Learning, Evolutionary Computation and Computational Creativity.

Also, trying to learn more about both Analysis and Abstract Algebra.

I need literature suggestions. Don't worry about texts being too simple/advanced, I'll sort that out myself.
