Is there any hard science behind lucid dreaming? Specifically, the shit you see online about how you can "do these steps to have a higher chance of lucid dreaming."

being a leader requires you to defy logic in many cases, people with high IQ tend to be very skeptical and very conservative to take initiative because it often sounds illogical

people who make most the money are optimistic and opportunistic shameless assholes, they call themselves risk takers but they most take risk with other people's money to hire high IQ people to do the actual work, and if it works, they take all the money and credit

A circle is a representation of a shape. Not a shape, a representation of a shape. Because the universe is not reducible down to something infinitely fine.

What we can do is have a bunch of smaller shapes (squares or triangles) that come together to approximate a circle, like pixels on a screen. And the more little squares you have (480p, 1080p, 4k), the closer the area of the squares comes to approximating Pi.

Pi is not a number. It's a description of how to get a number in a universe that's infinitely reducible, and the longer you go the more accurate it gets.

Do I get a field medal?

Free will IS the spectrum. That's why autists don't know how to behave. While normies have no choice and everything is predetermined, autists actuallly have to think and make the decisions themselves.

Good evening Dr. Anon! We are contacting you today to help us solve a dilemma!

We are in need of raw resources and we only have enough liquid expenses to fund one resource mining trip to one location in our local system. If we don't harvest enough resources from the subject celestial object, we may face extinction.

Which location should we strip of its resources and why? Keep in mind, we are polling many other bright minds so choose carefully!

They are actually neutron stars but with enough mass that light can't escape. If you fall into a black hole, you'll fall down onto a neutron star. Simple, except for the fact you'll never escape.

IQ merely tests how well you can make a simple logic exam, which is why it is good for predicting academic success, but not so good at predicting other forms of life success.

Anyone that has been well trained to do any type of exam will score well in an IQ test regardless of its actual intelligence. Intelligence itself is a very vage term and has been proven to be very malleable.

IQ is not really relevant, /sci/. Only true brainlets believe it is a definite measure of intelligence.
