>Group theory
I already know a bit, and I'd like to learn some more. It's exciting and seems very beautiful.
>Topology
I took a class in point-set topology last summer. Id like to learn what my instructor intended to teach, namely compactifications. I'd like to also learn more properties related to compactness and solve some cool problems.
>Linear algebra
I'd like to review a few things from last year (since I didn't pay attention in class), like inner product spaces, unitary operators, spectral theorem, and so on. I also want to really solidify my foundational knowledge of linear algebra.
>Analysis
Currently taking a two semester course (multivariable calc + manifolds) which I'll have to study for.

I'm very excited to do these things. I have two to three weeks off, so I should have more than enough time to get an adequate amount of work done.

>I always find it weird when a book asks me to prove there is a natural structure on something.
>Shouldn't it just ask me to construct a natural structure
Same thing.
