unclear capacity for empathy (some cases can be emotionally hypersensitive, others blunt and flat), and a general brainlet-ness when it comes to organically develop the capacity for theory of mind, which is why they can't pick up social cues instinctively and sometimes appear to present the same level of callousness as a textbook psychopath.
