As much as I've tried to improve things such as my mathematics skills or academic performance I just seem to make any noticeable headway. I took multiple IQ tests and always place around 94-98. I thought that if I simply tried hard enough I could still be successful but I'm in my second try at Calculus and even with torturing and help from my professor I'm still doing horribly. I just don't have the capacity for critical thinking or complex mathematics. This fact depresses me because I really wanted to try and be successful so I could escape more poor financial situation growing up and do something meaningful with my life I could be proud of. But It seems I'm destined for some manual labor or low skilled employment. I don't know how to cope with the fact that I'm just a brainlet.
