Hey /sci/, biofag here wanting your input on something. I would like to pursue a career in Biomedical Engineering by going through the MD/MS or MD/PhD route. As of now, my university requires me to take more math classes outside my major and to get a math minor I'd only need to take 9 more credits of upper level math. I was wondering, would having that math minor have any significant impact on my resume? Would it be a complete waste of time? Do grad schools/medical schools even care? I am currentlya junior right now but I am playing with the idea of taking an extra year to sort of fill in my resume but just wanted your input.
