Quantum entanglement makes two quantum systems display the same properties no matter how distant. If a property of one system is altered, this change will instantly be altered in the other.

When you go close to the speed of light, time slows down. Say you put a quantum entangled particle on a space ship that will travel close to the speed of light. The other half of this quantum entangled system will remain on earth.

This space ship is traveling so fast that time only passes half as fast as it would on earth.

The space ship travels away from earth for a few days and then equipment on the ship stimulates the quantum system on the spaceship in a certain way.

By measuring the other quantum system on earth aren't we effectively receiving a message from the future?

I heard scientists often say that they can calculate the maximum size of an animal because it would collapse under its own weight if it would be any bigger.

So...what is the biggest possible animal? I guess it also depends on graviy.

Let's take earth's and the moon's gravity.

Think about the following scenario:

Person A is pretty good for doing job X. He demonstrated this several times.

The requirement to do job X is to master ability y.

ability y is with 100% certainty never needed to do job X

Person A is completely unable to master ability y.

Therefore a person who is good for a certain job is not allowed to do this job.

This doesn't make sense imho. Can't we just all agree that this shit needs to stop?

It's too expensive and sending robots is more efficient anyway.

Hi!

I am at university atm and I noticed that I have to learn tons of stuff that I definitely will never need for my job, including learning an entire new language.

Instead of stuff we will not need we could instead learn and practice the stuff that is actually needed more OR make the time you need to study shorter.

Why is the system so retarded and what can be done to change it?
