I need a program that makes practice tests. Anki flashcards aren't doing it for me.
Ideally i'll be able to apply tags to questions in the program so that it can populate the test according to the tag weight

>anki
>uses spaced repetition, quiz & recall to boost learning
>failing at a card resets it, easy cards won't be seen for months
>customizable
>can learn and remember literally anything in an efficient manner
Why aren't you using it?

My tips:
Make your own cards, the process of making cards boosts learning
Use images, the brain is better at remembering images, stories, than facts and abstractions

Anki is a fucking superpower. Spaced repetition is like alien secret technology and humanity doesn't deserve it. I personally went from being an average student at university to an academic superstar overnight. It was amazing. The funny part is the dejected looks on my peers' faces whelst during class I know all the answers and on the exams I score near perfectly. Even on the tricky stuff, since I've filled my skull with all manner of memorable insight and I've made flashcards from every angle of a subject.

has anyone experimented with SRS to revise for STEM subjects?

I'm sure it could be useful for subjects like medecine which are very dense but I was wondering if it could also be useful for mathematics as well (esp. to remember definitions)

Does anyone here uses Anki to study math?

I've seen Anki being recommended a considerable amount of times here, but people don't tend to go into the details about how they use it.

What type of card templates do you guys use? How do you decide which info to put in a flashcard?

If you haven't already, get Anki for anything biology related. You're welcome.

I'm making this thread mainly to ask if anyone here has a good anki deck that that covers organic chemistry, preferably trivial names of compounds. Any other good decks that you have covering chemistry, biology etc. are also welcome.
