IRL it's always me who inspire, ignite interest in a topic, give openly my ideas, it's always one-way.
People are fucking dull, even my student mates at the french university where I go. They're not really passionate and content themselves with dull (if not rot) learning. I was depressed when I first figured that there was no clubs/groups of people sharing a passion for science and invention in the major city of France where I live (not a single hackerspace in the entire region).

The biggest French science forum: http://forums.futura-sciences.com/ is a fucking joke.
