alright this one's a doozy

kind of embarrassing, but i can't even do the first part

emf = BvL

v = emf/BL

emf = E*dist

dist varies along x direction which complicates shit

emf = E * (2L + 2x)

v = E * (2L + 2x) / BL

if i relate E to forces, I introduce charge which is gonna complicate shit. not a clue which direction to go.
