The series is divergent. The only way to prove that the sum is 1/2 is by performing manipulations on it that are only valid for convergent series. This is circular reasoning, and you can use it to prove several other sums for the same series, presenting a paradox.

You are your body. That's the same process I said earlier.

I guess I should define free will. Metaphysical free will is pretty much bunk. There's no evidence of dualism and it's not a particularly useful idea. I actually do believe in the compatibilist idea of free will, which basically means you are able to react to stimuli. It's not really free will, but the appearance of free will, although pragmatically it really makes no difference.

Tldr: You're a great big complex biological computer. It's awesome, but it's not "universal" and it's not magic.
