If the frying pan/pot is electrically isolated from the stove (which I presume is grounded), you could just electrify the whole thing (keeping the pot+splatter guard in contact, and positive)

I've heard that liquid droplets are naturally negatively charged at the surface.
If I attach pic related to an anode, would it effectively scrub nebulized cooking oil from a deep fryer?
