Collapsing civilization is extremely easy- happened multiple times
But rendering humanity extinct is almost next to impossible - not destroying much of the Earth itself

If you look at Geologic history:
Extinction happens due to shifting climates, moving tectonic plates, change in available diet, and introduction of predators that either hunted them or outcompeted them.

Human's ability to sweat, control fire, and create clothing and houses made us difficult to kill with climate
Cooking allowed us to eat almost anything that should not be possible with a primate stomach (seafood, bone marrow, wheat, etc)
The ability to create leather pouches allowed us to carry water with us so we can always outlast any prey

And lastly, the ability to create tools, complex societal structure, and pass on the knowledge, is near guaranteed to prevent humans from ever being killed by a natural predator as any survivor would pass on the knowledge to everyone, causing the next encounter to be so much harder for the predator.

Not to mention that agriculture creates less need to hunt.
And don't even think of going bio-war as there is no recorded instance of any species being rendered extinct via diseases. (Unless they are isolated in an island with poor genetic diversity)

The 1 and only natural way to kill an intelligent species is to destroy as much as 90% of the Earth's lifeforms.

You make a mega structure or a swarm and in a span of a week, something would break
Which would cause space junk to propel at high speed towards the others
This would cause a major positive loop back effect that would result into your entire space traffic to be halted for years, if not decades worth of super dangerous clean up. Not including the casualty and economic collateral damage
