A perfectly spherical planet is covered with a liquid of minimal viscosity. A bomb is detonated(pic related) on the north pole setting of a powerful wave.

a) Does the wave regain amplitude when it passes the equator?

b) What happens when the wave reaches the south pole? Does it cancel out? Does it pass through itself going on forever?
