Have to finish my undergraduate degree by taking a two-semester sequence. I want to work for a hedge fund eventually, should I take Numerical Analysis I and II, or Complex and Real Analysis (both are intro courses)?
Num sounds easier and simpler (Intro Real Analysis is considered the hardest undergraduate course in my entire uni), and at the end of the day I want my fucking degree with a strong GPA and I don't think I'd ever use real/complex analysis at work.

But, real/complex analysis sounds a lot more fun and would make me a better mathematician.

Anybody want to tell me what to do?

Most people die from old age due to liver failure, heart disease, etc... so wouldn't it be in the best interest of a billionaire in his 70's to just replace all his old organs with fresh Chinese ones? Would they still die so soon, or would it prolong their life?
I know nothing about biology beyond an undergraduate class 6 years ago.

So.... what the fuck is up with everyone putting down the India paper by running individual BLAST queries for the matching sequences?

Theres a thread on Twitter thats currently garnering a lot of attention (https://twitter.com/guacamolebio/status/1223383400297324544?s=19)), but it fails to facet the searches. It doesn't look for one match, and then look among those matches to see what matches the next sequence and so on.

What people are currently doing is not how you disprove similarity based on claims of multiple matching criteria. That'd be akin to me saying "you can't prove this new thing right here is similar at all to a car just because its blueprints include wheels, axels, seating, headlights, turn signals, and a gas tank. If we cross check against all other blueprints in this blueprint database for 'seating', we'll see sofas, dining chairs, rollercoasters, toilets and more. So it looks like those traits in that blueprint all are just common things you can find anywhere. What a nothingburger, haha"

Hey /sci/ someone I know has been having some incredible stomach pains and problems over a long period of time (years) and they've had no luck in being diagnosed, the doctors are clueless apparently. I don't know much about it but apparently they did a test and they're capable of digesting food properly, anyone want to brainstorm what this could be?

Any of you anons have experience with the "Twins" at your uni?
The Twins are typically characterized by
>identical looking pair in every way
>long hair if male, short hair if female
>nerd culture or obscure anime/fur merch
>literally never seen apart from each other
>usually eats the same food, turns in the same work, etc
Ive experienced 3 separate cases of the Twins as an undergrad, 2 pairs of males and 1 pair of females. They seem to propagate in Physics and Math degrees.

I'm conducting a well controlled and totally unbiased study, please respond.
1. What is your total vaginal depth (from vaginal opening to cervix)?
2. What is the length of your labia at its longest point?
3. How would you describe your race / ancestry?
