um... I don't think its a diabolical plot. Just a side effect of ignorance and the fashion for short term gains over long term... sense. The fungus that causes abortions, Fusarium Solani, doesn't "sterilize the third generation" its acts like an estrogen. The Russians had a bad trip with it ending up in bread and a bunch o' guys fully died. Don't know how death might affect the third generation.
