The irony is that these pride days or whatever are what make people hate gays. Otherwise they'd just be your colleagues, doing their jobs. No one gives a shit.

Every time I open a thread, there is always a post where someone wants to make a non-argument stating that they are an idiot for believing something. And on occasion they actually proof something while remaining critical and not remaining open-ended enough for positive/negative feedback.

Are we still in the scientific age where credibility is based on personal likeness, rather than meaningful contribution? Not a 3rd-wave Feminist, but some extremely important contributions in astronomy and medical sciences were made, but few took them seriously on account of being women.

TL;DR Don't be a fag, be a friendly lad.
