Maybe they want you to answer the question talking about streamlining and investments rather than race and demographics.

The question seems like a trap. Do you care about your co-workers, race and other unproductive bullshit or do you care about securing profit and maximizing potential.

>just my opinion, but you're a dumbass who would bring up how "minorities only bring down the workplace" or some other such bullshit. lulz.

Well that's a problem. Thinking that way can get yourself in a whole heap of trouble if you aren't careful. It doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you are a good, moral person, you will find out.

Hey /sci/, I discovered a way to quickly derive multiplication table numbers which you have forgotten. Obviously, this is not revolutionary and I'm sure this was known even hundreds of years ago, but I have never heard/seen anyone use it.

<span class="math">x\cdot y=10x-x(10-y)
x = first number
y = second number

It does seem to be defined on all reals, but for quick multiplication purposes, I'd use 1-9 only for both x and y.

Example:
<span class="math">8\cdot7=10(8) - 8(10-7)=80-8(3)=80-24=56
"Proof":
<span class="math">x\cdot y=10x-x(10-y)=10x-10x+xy=xy
/sci/? I have a question.

Have you ever felt like you were born in the wrong time period?

I mean, I'm not saying that I am not thankful for what I have. Life is fucking amazing. To think about how all of this is able to exist is mind blowing.

But sometimes, I'll wake up wishing so hard that I was born in the time where humanity has made contact with an alien species and has ventured fully to the stars. I want a frontier to explore. I want to visit planets and see animals and beings that are beyond my feeble human mind. I want to shake the hand/tendril/whatever of an alien ambassador. Sometimes I feel as though while yes, we are truly lucky to live in this time period of scientific understanding, I think we have also been cheated. There is no true "new frontier" for us to explore. I know that we have not completely explored and mapped the worlds oceans, but in the end we're still on Earth, you know?

Thoughts? Do you ever feel as though you wish you could explore space?

There are times when i dream and i do conclude that im dreaming, nothing really magical happens. Most of the time the fact that i am aware of dreaming only happens for what i estimate is around 5 or maybe 10 seconds then whatever i am dreaming carry's on.

So am i dreaming that i know im dreaming?

Typical of many faires of this type, Grandma had told me that the
livestock exhibited at the faire would be auctioned off on the
last day. Grandpa had agreed to advance me the payment against
my future work for them, and given me some suggestions on how I
should proceed. The first thing he told me was where all the
animals were being kept during the faire.

I rushed in to the barn and down to her stall with my last bit of
breath.

"Hi," she said brightly upon seeing me again. She treated my
arrival as if I'd only stepped away for a few minutes, rather
than the cowardly way I had slunk away yesterday.

"I'm going to buy you," I managed to gasp out, still trying to
catch my breath.

"I'd like that," she said, giving my heart a leap of joy at those
words. Then my whole world suddenly sagged when she added,
"Although the ice cream maker has also said he plans to buy me."

I didn't know what to say to that. "Why?" I finally managed to
get out.

"He likes the quality of my milk," she said as if it was nothing
special. "He has been buying it from my parents for awhile now.
He says it makes his best ice cream ever."

That left me thinking about the ice cream I'd eaten yesterday.
It momentarily gave me a queasy feeling, although it made perfect
sense in this world. It brought another question to mind as
well.
