I was pondering the viability of battery powered devices like drones, phones, computers etc in off-the-grid situations like working in bumfuck nowere or fighting in an underdeveloped warzone. Thing about batteries is they seem to have shitty energy density. Compare that to things like diesel or gasoline which can release insane amounts of energy when burned so you can theoretically carry more juice for the same weight.

The question is, can one somehow produce a charging device that converts fuel into electricity to charge batteries that is light enough and efficient enough to make it more worthwhile than just carrying a bunch of batteries?

How you get the roots of a quadratic equation using linear algebra? None of that completing the square or quadratic formula.
I looked it up and it looks like quadratic forms might be able to do it but I don't see how.

>>tfw too intelligent to go to class

Ok /sci/, I either need you to roast me or cheer me up.
>Beginning Engineer, math is my thing
>Set one goal for myself with undergraduate math: All A's in Calc Sequence
>Spring: Calc 1, grade never deviated from a 95-100%A
>Summer: Took Calc 2 over the summer and got btfo'd. Still, made an A
>Fall: Got stuck with shitty 8AM (4days a week) Calc 3
>Hardly attended lecture, only quiz/ exam dates
>Exams: 95A, 100A, 87B, 100A, also aced my quizzes and HW.
>Going to get a letter grade drop for poor attendance, so a B

This breaks my heart. A B in a Calc class. What do you guys think of graded attendance in college? Good or bad?

l recently took an IQ test and l got a score of 80. Does that mean that l am above 80% the population's average intelligence?
