If I've learned the atomic and sub-atomic structure in detail without math, does it mean that I understand the atomic and sub-atomic structure at all? Are non-math examples just an over-simplification which has nothing to do with the real world?

I've learned the supposedly non-oversimplified aspects of it, but I'm not sure if it's real non-oversimplified since it doesn't use math.

Did natural selection favor traits which made us care about mankind?

If you deny that particles in it`s wave form collapse because of conscious you basically put the reliability of our observations(of qm tests) into doubt.

Fallowing that logic you will put the whole field of sceince into doubt, like solipsism does.

First of all i honor you for questioning determinism and not instantly become an arrogant nihilist spending the rest of your life defending this position.

Indeed quantum physics makes a non-deterministic universe with a strong role for consciousness or, as some people call it "souls", the most reasonable view on reality. The logic you have to fallow in order to stick to determinism is possible, but verry complicated and unlikely.

Anyway Zeno`s arrow paradox made determinism verry unlikely in the first place.
