Bear in mind that the max size of silicon transistors is 3-5nm. We are currently at 8-20nm and we would soon hit the max limit.
Within 50 years, it's over. Technology would peak and we would need something other than silicon to continue progressing

Otherwise, the only way to improve would be to pack up and continue to increase size. Just like the 1800's
