Shit is hard anon. Sometimes the proofs take hours and hours, and then some I have to think about for days before getting anywhere.

I'm 6 months into grad school after I pissed my undergraduate away. I'm pretty much in my redemption arc. I worked in a warehouse for 2 years before putting all my money on this last chance. At the same time, I'm studying my fucking ass off. Burnt out two times already and I feel like fucking killing myself. I've literally started taking 3am doomer walks because I stay awake thinking about not making good marks. My first lab rotation went well, but that is because I spend every waking hour preparing for the next day so I'm not completely fucking useless in the lab. Still, I've learned more in 6 months that my entire undergrad it feels like, and I intend on finishing.

How long does it take for synapses to build after practicing a skill?

like, what's the optimal strategy to build such synapses (learn a skill like music)?

I guess 3/5 were people I met indirectly, and 2/5 were people I met myself. And I was pretty drunk for all of them

I am a cesspool of insecurity but I've been trying to fix it for years. Being in such an isolating work environment definitely doesn't help

I didn't have faith in someone like musky to save us with his lmao space bullshit, but I do genomics and it's sad man. it's all dying and gone, I won't even get to see the great barrier reef like I wanted to since I was a little kid. soon we're gonna lose tiger sharks and lots of other cools harks, and half of teh frogs are catching bd and ranaviruses and dying too. there's no point to anything anymore
