/sci/ - Science & Math

Is being stupid scientifically explainable? For example, I feel that I am 'above average' with my level if intelligence; as in I'm amazed at how ignorant and stupid the common person is (inb4 autism). But forget those people. Switch over to my engineering classes at uni and I feel exceptionally stupid. The concepts and level of mathematics involves is overwhelming to me now. I know how things work/ love learning how things work, and when someone is confused and I explain how it works they say 'wow anon you must be REALLY into _____", when my knowledge is babby's first at best.

So /sci/, what separates us in that regard? Shouldn't it be a problem to be addressed? At this point I feel as though I am legitimately retarded because of the difficulty I have with my coursework, to the point where when I go to learn something new I feel like there are infinite amounts of points beyond it that I will never understand. Is it a question of mental attitude; as in if I believe I will learn, the learning will come quicker? Is it the absence of a chemical in the brain besides adderall? Are my synapses wired fucky?

This block is killing me guys...

Didn't know if /sci/ did these (/k/ here). I was wondering if anyone knew of a website showing common decent, like the common ancestor between two animals.

I think of this all the time. And as far as everyone saying that Earth is a cozy warm place, its not going to be too cozy and warm for too much longer, and by that I mean a few decades unless everyone stops being so fucking greedy and selfish about their hoggish energy needs.
