Here's a nice example I have. Let S = {1,2,3,4,5}. Now Consider x = 7-4. Is x an element of S? Yes, obviously x is in S. However, these people, >>12696740, will say
>nah
>the question is about S, not S + 7
>you can't use x, it's not in S.

Basically with my MCM unit cell, I needed to find a finite distance across which the gravitational interaction between branes would go to zero. The thing I came up with was a "number in the neighborhood of infinity." As corollary of my work in cosmology, I was able to show that the Riemann hypothesis is false.
