Set [math]B = \{ b_1 , \ldots, b_n \}[/math]
Then [math]v = a_1 b_1 + \ldots a_n b_n[/math] where, necessarily, all of the [math]a_n > 0[/math], for any possible way of writing [math]v[/math] in that form.
