Hi /sci/, first time here, let me know if I am not doing it right...

Lately I've been doing some research on brain lateralization (not for school, just personal curiosity) and even though I went through the whole wikipedia article ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lateralization_of_brain_function ), most of its references and a few other websites, I still felt unsatisfied and felt that I should come here to see if people knew more about this.

So here are my concerns:

-When and where did the "myth" of [left brain = logic; right brain = creativity] started to appear and why?

-How true or how wrong is this "myth"? I already know it's kinda both but if you have any good reads/sources on the subject that I haven't checked already, I would be very glad to read them.

Thanks a lot in advance for your answers.
