The Eagle Nebula

I'm convinced that this is the result of some horrible alien weaponry.

I have a question when our star turns into a white dwarf after that it turns into a nebula again, just like it started?

Hey /sci/, did you hear the news? I don't know if you guys have caught wind yet, but the Eagle Nebula was destroyed by a supernova. I'm a bit saddened by this as the Pillars of Creation have always been one of my favorite astronomical entities.

I hope that in my life time, immortality becomes available. I want to be alive, or at least still conscious, in a thousand years when the light of these monsters being destroyed reaches Earth.

Not trolling, just curious, so bear with me.

What are your thoughts on the viability of using comatose patients for the purpose of insemination to harvest stem cells from the fetus within, then aborting said fetus before it becomes 'viable' in a court of law?

The famous Pillars of Creation, a large region of star formation. In early 2007, scientists using the Spitzer discovered evidence that potentially indicates the Pillars were destroyed by a nearby supernova explosion about 6,000 years ago, but the light showing the new shape of the nebula will not reach Earth for another millennium.
