Im aware that we react faster to audio stimuli than visual ones, but what I want to know is if there is a difference in the intensity of the stimuli and how it interacts with the brain vis a vis memory.
My initial expectation is that audio has a more intense/permanent interaction with memory based purely on my own subjective experience, like I feel much more connection/nostalgia to audio (music and other specific sounds/tones) than visual.
any papers or books that involve this kind of thing?
