hey /sci/, I've been mulling over this algebra simplification forever and I can't figure out where I went wrong.

if I have \frac{(10^0.5 * tan x)(10^0.5 sec^2 x)}{10^0.5 sec x}

I should be able to pull out a square root of 10 from each term on the top, divide the square root of 10 on the top over the square root of 10 on the bottom to get 1, and then have tanx * sec^2 x.

but wolfram alpha says it simplifies to \frac{1}{10^0.5} * tanx * secx

do you know where I'm going wrong?
