/sci/ I have no idea what the hell I'm doing wrong here, please help me before I loose it.

4²+3-2(5-2)
4²+3 +10 - 6
16 19 29 23
see I do the brackets first to make it

4² + 3 - 2 + 3

Then the Indices
16 + 3 - 2 + 3
Theres no multiplication or division, so I proceed
19 - 2 + 3
17+3
= 20

This is wrong, please tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong here, the BIDMAS method seems to be failing me and I fear it's because I'm missing a rule, possibly something to do with the 2(5+2).
