here is the data, which any sort of visualization like that is probably working with:
8:38:00 PM 3519.93232
8:39:00 PM 3439.859479
8:40:00 PM 3378.138818
8:41:00 PM 3336.032971
8:42:00 PM 3314.462052
8:43:00 PM 3313.91701
8:44:00 PM 3334.410173
8:45:00 PM 3375.473922
8:46:00 PM 3436.20785
8:47:00 PM 3515.363984
8:48:00 PM 3611.452737
8:49:00 PM 3722.851254
8:50:00 PM 3847.899659
8:51:00 PM 3984.976946
8:52:00 PM 4132.554165
8:53:00 PM 4289.226747
8:54:00 PM 4453.729962
8:55:00 PM 4624.942059
8:56:00 PM 4801.879241
8:57:00 PM 4983.685797
8:58:00 PM 5169.621827
8:59:00 PM 5359.050191
9:00:00 PM 5551.42373

As you can see as it passes the periapse at around 8:43, it continues the trajectory.
Now, to know what a visualization does with that... depends on how it is programmed. My guess is that it will simply disappear. Programming the surface threshold is trivial. (or simply giving the data up to a point)
